William Jason, 67 of Hamden died peacefully December 26th at Connecticut Hospice after a long illness. He was born in New Haven November 21, 1956 son of the late Rudolph Sr. & Ann Cifarelli Jason. William worked for many years as an operator at Lakin Tire East Inc. He was a member of the Umberto Club, and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing & camping. He is survived by brothers Rudolph A. (Elaine) Jason of Hamden, and David R. (Ana) Jason of Texas, a sister Patricia Travers ( John Champagne) of Hamden, and a number of nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph Jason.  At William's request, all services were privately held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
