Robert Maggi Sr., 81, of Old Saybrook died Feb. 8th at home with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Dianne LaBanca Maggi. Born in New Haven, son of the late Gabriel & Julia DellaCamera Maggi, Robert worked for many years in the medical electronics industry. He was the co-owner of Quality Temporaries, worked at Corometrics, and was one of the founders of Novametrix. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed softball, exercising, and vacationing in Bermuda. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Robert Jr., a daughter Lisa (John) Swett, both of Old Saybrook, a sister Gail Cavalier of Wallingford, grandchildren; Alex, Julia, & Gabriel and loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son James.
