William L. Gillotti, 79, of Hamden, died March 17th at the V.A. Medical Center. He was the husband of Julia Cofrancesco Gillotti. Born in Bridgeport, son of the late Albert & Gertrude Gillotti, he worked for Raybestos & Pinkerton Security. An avid Yankee and Giant fan who enjoyed traveling with family, he was the photographer for the Hamden Elks. William was a Korean War veteran who served in the medics. Past commander of V.F.W Post 9427 and a life member of V.F.W Post 9928, he was also a member of American Legion Post 88. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Albert Gillotti and a daughter Mrs. Edward(Diane)McCann both of Stratford,In laws, Catherine Cofrancesco of North Haven and Eleanor Huston of Ohio, a Grand son Ryan Burdge, & many special cousins and good friends. Special thanks to the V.A. Palliative Care South Harbor Unit for their kind & loving care. Funeral services directly at Christ Lutheran Church ( ELCA), 600 Shepard Ave. Hamden, with Rev. Owen Sanderson officiating, at 10 A.M. WEDNESDAY. Interment with full military honors in St. Mary's Cem. Hamden. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Peter H.
