Walter Lawry, 67, of Hamden died November 29th, 2015 at the Yale- Smilow Cancer  Center after a long illness.  Born in Germany, son of the late Stefan and Anna Lawry, Walter worked locally as a self employed painter.  He is survived by his sister Ann Griffith of Hamden. Private services were entrusted to the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
