Vincent "Chick" DelVecchio Jr., 94, of Alstrum St. Hamden, died suddenly at home on June 6th.  Born in Hamden, son of the late Venonzio and Pasqualina DelVecchio, Chick worked for the Iron Workers' locals 15 & 424. He was also a longtime farmer throughout Hamden.
He is survived by a brother Alfred(Flossy)DelVecchio, and sisters Eleanor Bertolini and Mary Ann(William)Knight. He was predeceased by brothers Paul & Salvatore DelVecchio, and sisters Josephine Guarino, Sylvia Barbieri, Angelina Nista, Adele DelVecchio, Margaret Suffredini, Edith Vasquez, and infant Mary Anna.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 from the Peter H.Torello & Son F.H. 1022 Dixwell Ave.,Hamden and at 10 A.M. in St. Ann's Church. Burial in Beaverdale Memorial Park.  Friends may call Thurs. from 5 to 8 P.M.
