Victor Santiago, 82, of New Haven died March 12th at the Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation after a long illness. Born November 8, 1940 in Hatillo Puerto Rico son of the late Angel & Concepcion Santiago Robles, Victor worked for many years as a landscaper with various companies. He was very handy and was always fixing things for people. He is survived by sisters; Carmen Escobar of Puerto Rico, and Luz Lugo of New Haven. He was predeceased by brothers; Miguel Santiago, & George Ortiz, and a sister Pilar Colon. Calling hours will be held THURSDAY morning from 8:45 - 9:45 in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, CT. Followed by a graveside service at 10:30 am. in Evergreen cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Martin De Porres Church, or a charity of ones choice.
