Valerie Jane Denny, 69, of Hamden, died November 23rd at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was the widow of Raymond Denny. Born in Burlington, Vermont, daughter of the late Philip & Edith (Torello)  Della Franci , she graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1966.Valerie worked throughout her life as a legal secretary. Survived by a beloved son Michael Denny, beloved daughter-in-law Jessica Denny, extremely beloved grandson Jason Denny and dear & special friend Mollie Stratton - Vasquez (Calixto), all of New Haven. She is also survived by her cousins Louis Scopetto (Marsha), Annette Matos (Elias), Alex Torello (Betsy) and John Torello (Nancy). A mass will be held at St. Michaels, 29 Wooster Place, New Haven, on Monday December 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m..
