Valentina Casaverde, 93, of Hamden, died suddenly June 12, 2020. Born in Apurimac, Peru, daughter of the late Prudencio & Marcelina Casaverde, Valentina worked various jobs at farms all over Peru. She is survived by siblings; Leoncia Casaverde of Hamden, Justina Varga of Elmsford, N.Y., and Gilbert Casaverde of White Plains, N.Y.. She was predeceased by brothers; Victor, Felipe, Gregono, Fernando, and Laureano Casaverde. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 13th in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H. 1022 Dixwell Ave. Hamden. Friends may call from 4-6 P.M., burial will be private.
