Thomas George Pasquale, 90, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Hamden CT died peacefully August 31, with family and friends by his side after a brief illness. He was born July 3, 1928 in West Haven CT to Mary Patricelli Pasquale and John Pasquale. He is predeceased by his parents and his wife Angie Lucibella Pasquale. He leaves behind a daughter, Andrea Pasquale of Phoenix AZ, her husband and his best buddy Thomas Sanfilippo of Phoenix, AZ, beloved sister Virginia Catapano (Andrew) of West Haven, nephew Frank Lucibella (Carol) of Orleans, MA, Gerald Lucibella (Linda) of Wethersfield, CT, Robert Catapano (Cathy) of West Haven, CT and Maryellen Albrecht (Brad) of St Mary's, GA. He also leaves great nieces and nephews, Kate, Torrie, Jackie(Vallee), and Andrew Lucibella, Michelle (Lewis), Jennifer (Hodge) and Emily Albrecht, Cindy and Andrew Catapano and Michael and Chris Lucibella. He also leaves behind his companion Josephine Christiansen, buddy Marty Alenbuff, and friends Lou & Kathy Esposito. He was raised in New Haven and graduated Hillhouse High School in 1946. He was a graduate of Quinnipiac College with a degree in Business. He retired from the federal government in Civil Service as a Contract Administrator with 28 years of service receiving numerous awards for outstanding performance. He previously worked at United Nuclear and Winchesters, and was co-owner of the Hamden Pub on Dixwell Ave. in Hamden in the mid 60's. He is a WWII vet having served time in Japan and retired with 23 years of service as 1stSargent in the US Army. He married Angie Lucibella in 1951 and moved to Hamden where they lived for 56 years until her death in 2007. After visiting his daughter in Arizona every winter for 5 years he moved out permanently in 2013. He lived a life well lived and well loved. He enjoyed woodworking,martinis, baking,bingo, playing cards & trips to Las Vegas. Funeral Saturday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H. 1022 Dixwell Ave. Hamden, and at 10:00 at Blessed Sacrament Church (CBoL). Interment in St. Lawrence. Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sun Sounds of Arizona, Hospice of the Valley, CRIS Radio or the St Benedict's Building Fund.
