Theresa Caldaro Malazzi, 87, of Luciani Rd., Woodbridge, died at home, Jan. 5, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness. She was the widow of Juliano "Jay" Malazzi. Theresa was born in Vicenza, Italy, March 2, 1927, the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Caldaro and resided in Woodbridge most of her life. She is the mother of Gloria Elker (Fred) of Bethany, Maria Testa (Joseph) of Simpsonville, SC, Lucia Spear (Michael) of Deep River, Wendy Malazzi of Springfield, MA and Wanda Malazzi of Woodbridge. She was pre-deceased by a son, Frank Malazzi and a grandson, Michael Calandro. Grandmother of Richie, Lisa, Holly, Ray, Trisha, Jason, Michelle, Nicole and Lindsay, great grandmother of Grace, Jackson, Stacey, Kara, Emma, Ray III, RJ, Aj, Madison and Juliana and great-great grandmother of Joseph and Lilyana. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters. Private services were held at Our Lady of the Assumption Church followed by entombment in the Garden Mausoleum in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
