Tessie Raccio Giamo, 94, formerly of Hamden and Bella Vista, died May 18, 2010 at the Arden House. She was the widow of Joseph Raccio. Tessie was born in Hamden, May 16, 1915, the daughter of the late John and Minnie Landino Raccio and worked at Yale University, Seamless Rubber and was a cafateria worker in Sleeping Giant and Hamden High Schools, and was a former member of the 339 Club at Bella Vista and the St. Rita Rosary Society of St. Ann's Church. Beside her husband, she was pre-deceased a sister, Jula Ross and brothers, John "Chick" & Lawrence Raccio. Funeral Thursday at 11:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Ann's Church at 12 noon. Interment in Beaverdale Menmorial Park. Friends may call Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M.
