Teresa Izzo DiDomenico, 88, of Hamden, died April 23, 2018 at Yale New Haven Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Gaetano DiDomenico. Teresa was  born in Formicola, Italy, March 7, 1930, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Amelia DiGaetano Izzo and had resided in Hamden he last 66 years. She was employed at the Starter Corp. over 20 years prior to retiring. She enjoyed gardening and sharing her crop with others. She is survived by her children, Angie DiDomenico (Gail Testa) of Wallingford, Amelia "Emily" Houghton (Dr. Adam) of Shrewsbury, MA, Anna DiGristina (Frank) of Cheshire and Peter DiDomenico of Fairfield,a brother, Giuseppe Izzo in Italy. and was the proud grandmother of Miranda and Isabel Cuddy, Teresa "Tess", Adam and Belle, Lily, Peter and Grace DiDomenico and Alessandro (Alex) Houghton. She was pre-deceased by a son Pietro Gaetano DiDomenico and siblings, Francesca DeNinno, Tomaso and Giovanni Izzo.

Funeral Saturday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o.clock. Entombment in All Saints Cemetery.
