Stephen M. Vermiglio, 86, of Hamden, died Sept. 6, 2017 at Masonic Health Care, Wlfg. He was the husband of Dolores Langello Vermiglio. Steve was born in New Haven, Jan. 14, 1931, son of the late Joseph and Rose Kichar Vermiglio and had resided in Hamden the last 50 years. He owned the JV Cleaning Service which he operated for over 50 years. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict, former member of the K of C and the Eagles Clubs, and enjoyed playing cards, trips to Atlantic City and camping and boating. Beside his wife he is survived by his sons, Nicholas Stephen (Maria) Vermiglio and Joseph S. (Deborah) Vermiglio, both of Hamden, and grandchildren, Nicholas S.A. Vermiglio, Joseph S. Vermiglio Jr., Phillip A. Vermiglio and Lauren Marie Vermiglio. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Anna Fowler. Funeral Saturday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 8 P.M.
