Shirley E. Tozzo, 95 of Westbrook, formerly of Hamden died peacefully at home May 25th with her family by her side. She was born in New Haven, March 15, 1928, daughter of the late John & Antonette Lavorgna Tozzo. Shirley worked for 30 years as the Assistant Town Clerk for the Town of Hamden. She enjoyed the shore, and loved having family and friends visit her there. She is survived by a brother John Tozzo of Westbrook, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Howard & Donald Tozzo. Friends are asked to go directly to Christ the Bread of Life (Blessed Sacrament) Church in Hamden TUESDAY May 30th at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Middlesex Hospice Homecare www.middlesexhealth.org
