Shawn Erik Bertine, 41, of Wallingford passed away peacefully Sept. 20th from Covid-19. He was a kind soul who was a hard working, real people person, who loved life, "conversation", the New York Yankees, UConn women's basketball, music, and the casino. Born in New Haven, son of Kenneth & Ann DelVecchio Bertine, Shawn worked at the ACORD Job Agency for 20 years and did lots of volunteer work. Besides his parents, he leaves a grandfather, Charles Rainer, many aunts, uncles & cousins (special love for his cousin "Lily"), and friend Kathy DeSantis, who always sent loving thoughts. He was predeceased by a sister Michele. He will be missed by his pets Ricky, Cloe, & Isabelle. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service MONDAY 11 A.M., in Centerville cemetery, Hamden.
