Sarah G. Cricca, 96, 0f 159 Cherry Hill Rd., Hamden, died Jan. 27, 2013, at Masonic Care, Wallingford after a long illness. Sarah was born in Hamden, Feb. 22, 1916, the daughter of the late John and Mary Zeoli Cricca and was a lifelong resident of Hamden. She, together with her family, owned and operated the Venice Restaurant for over 50 years. She is survived by a sister, Helen Cricca Fowler of Hamden and many niece and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brothers, Rocco, Nicholas, Anthony, Michael and Joseph Cricca. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clolck in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends may call from 10 A.M. to 11 o'clock, prior to the services. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
