Samuel Rivera, 38, of New Haven died suddenly January 17th in Hartford. He was the loving son of Carlos & Margarita Centeno Rivera. Born in Bayamon P.R., he worked as a  self employed mechanic. Besides working on cars, Samuel enjoyed music and playing dominos. In addition to his parents, he is survived by sons; Samuel Rivera Jr. of New Haven & Jade Rivera of Hartford, a daughter Sybaley Rivera of Georgia, Brothers; Carlos Padilla and Alberto Rivera of New Haven, and Carlos Rivera of Mass., sisters Yadira Padilla& Mariann Rivera of New Haven. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service SATURDAY at 12 P.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son F.H., 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, and may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
