Salvatore J. Goglia, 91, of 835 Mix Ave., Hamden ,died on Nov. 24, 2014 at his home after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Fannie Tascillo Goglia. Sal was born in Hartford, Nov. 7, 1923, the son of the late Joseph and Philomena Notargiovanni Goglia and resided in Hamden since 1958. He was employed at Union Trust Bank for 30 years, retiring as Vice President 29 years ago. He was a founding member of the Unitas Club, and a member of The Amity Club and The Civitan Club. He is survived by his son, Ronald (Colleen) Goglia of Meriden, grandchildren, Michelle Goglia of Woodbridge, Laurie (Joseph) Madonna of Burlington, Ct. and Kristen Goglia of Cromwell and two great-grandchildren, Matthew Goglia and Isabel Madonna. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass Wednesday at 11 o'clock in St. Stephen's Church, Hamden. Interment private. The Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
