Salvatore E. "Sal" Esposito, 79, of 548 Pilgrams Harbor, Wallingford, died at Conn Hospice, June 5, 2011. He was the husband of Susan Lasky Esposito, Sal was born in East Haven, April 27, 1932, the son of the late John and Carmel Leone Esposito and resided in Wallingford the last 30 years. He was a painter for 40 years for the Wyatt Corp., was a Army Veteran of Korean War, fighting in the Battle of Pork Chop Hill,and was a member of the Umberto Club. Beside his wife, he is survived by sons John (Yvone) Esposito and Salvatore L. (Kathy) Esposito both of New Haven, daughters, Mrs. Sal (Carmel) Consiglio of New Haven and Mrs. Dino (Anna) Brandi of Hamden, step daughters, Mrs. John (Lisa) Nosal of Wallingford and Mrs. James (Carol) Murray of West Haven and a sister, Mia Rauh of Newport Richie, FL., 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral, with military honors, Thursday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Rose's Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
