Sally Ann Nista, 72 formerly of Hamden, died January 3rd in Philadelphia, P.A, after a brief illness. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Angelo & Louise Barile Nista, Sally worked as a consulting I.T. specialist. Her job took her around the world which she enjoyed immensely. She was an animal lover, and an avid historian, visiting museums and historic sites as she traveled the world. She is survived by a brother George (Ann) Nista of Wallingford and nieces and nephews Brenda, Paul and Karen, Gerald, Suzanne and Dean. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Angelo Nista Jr. Calling hours will be held SATURDAY April 26th from 8:30 - 10:30 am in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden followed by a memorial service at 10:30 am in the same location. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASPCA ( www.aspca.org )
