Ruth Miglierina Fusco Petrucci, 79, of Treadwell St., Hamden, died June 16th at the Masonicare Center after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Thomas Petrucci. Ruth was born in New Haven, Dec. 20, 1937, the daughter of the late Leo and Miris Bandecchi Miglierina and resided in Hamden most of her life. She was a real estate secretary for the Beasley and Gaudioso Real Estate Companies for 18 years, enjoyed working with animals and was a pet sitter for 25 years. She was member of the Gold Star Sisters of the VFW Ladies Aux. #591 and the St. Jude League. Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Susanne (James) Milewski of Westbrook, Jeffrey Fusco of Cheshire, Peter (Robin) Fusco of Hamden and Thomas (Edith) Petrucci of the Philippines, grandmother of James & Cindy Milewski, Allison Stankiewicz, Peter Jr, Christopher & Robert Fusco, Barbara, Bianca, Thomas & George Petrucci, 8 great grandchildren and her beloved cat, Becky. She was pre-deceased by a brother Robert Miglierina. Friends are invited to go directly to St, Rita Church, Thursday, at 11 0'clock for a Mass of Christian Burial and may call at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden ,Thursday morning from 8:30 to 10:30. Interment is private.
