Russell Riccio Sr., 87, of Hamden died Oct. 29th from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Born in New Haven, March 8, 1933, son of the late Dominic & Anna Mangini Raccio, he was one of 12 children. An Army veteran,he worked in construction, as a heavy equiptment operator. He is survived by a son Russell Riccio Jr. of Hamden, brothers; Robert Raccio of Orange, Arthur Riccio of Florida, Howard Raccio of Hamden, and a step daughter Diane Levesque of Tennessee. Friends are invited to attend a graveside memorial service Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary's cemetery Hamden.
