Rose Ferrie Laudano, 88, of Spring Hill, Fl., formerly of New Haven, died in Spring Hill, Dec. 9, 2012. She was the widow of Michael Laudano. Rose was born in New Haven, Aug. 21, 1924, the daughter of the late Edward and Marietta Iatomassi Ferrie. Rose is the mother of Marietta (John) DiRienzo of Spring Hill, and John (Audrey) Laudano of Hamden, grandmother of Dean (Jennifer) DiRienzo of Spring Hill and Michael (Nicole) DiRienzo of Minneola, FL,great grandmother of Samantha, Chloe and Noah, sister of Donna (Albert) Fasano of Cranston, RI, and Albert (Anna) Ferrie of New Haven. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Anna Lynn Laudano and siblings, Caroline, Edward and Vincent Ferrie. Funeral Saturday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at The Church of the Ascension at 10 o'clock. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday morning from 8:15 to 9:15. Rose's family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at the Forest Oaks Assisted Living and HPH Hospice for the wonderful and loving care given to her. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Alzheimer Foundation or a local Hospice.
