Ronata Cozzi Quinlan, 97, of 17 Merritt Ave., Woodbridge, died Oct. 8, 2011 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of William J. Quinlan. Rona was born in New Haven, June 12, 1914, the daughter of the late Vito and Immacolata Panico Cozzi and resided in Woodbridge most of her life. She was a seamstress for several area shops and also worked in the Amity Regional High School Cafeteria. A long time communicant of the Assumption Church, she was a member of it's St. Ann Society and was devoted to her large and close family. She is survived by her devoted children, Arlene Quinlan and Maureen Wolyniec, both of Woodbridge and William (Kimberly) Quinlan of Branford, loving sister of Mary DeLuca of Wallingford, Shirley Vitale of New Haven and the late Rose Caruso, Carmel Shea, Beverly Clark, Alphonse, Pasquale and Dominic Cozzi, sister in law of Nicky Clark of Woodbridge, grandmother of Amy D'Amato, Jennifer Davis, William and Katherine Quinlan, great grandmother of William Eliason and Jack Eyrich. Also many giving nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday at 10:45 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Litchfield Turnpike, at 11:30. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
