Ronald N. Ugolik, Sr., 77, of 7 Mettler St., Woodbridge, died Aug. 9, 2011 at Conn Hospice after a long illness. He was the husband of Helen Coppola Ugolik. Ron was born March 25, 1934, the son of the late Nicholas and Rose Kaczynski Ugolik and was a roofer for American Roofing Co. for 50 years, prior to retirement. He had resided in Woodbridge for the last 47 years and served the the US Army as an MP, stationed in Korea. Beside his wife, he is survived by sons, Ronald (Charlayne) Ugolik, Jr., of NC and Michael Ugolik of Woodbridge, a sister, Jean Ugolik of Hamden, grandchildren, Sabrina, Nicholas, Michael Jr. and Anthony, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by brothers, Zigmond, Harold, Edward and Walter Ugolik. Friends are invited to go directly to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Litchfield Turnpike, Woodbridge, Saturday, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 o'clock. Interment in East Side Cemetery, Woodbridge. There are no calling hours. The Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.
