Roger R. Marcio, 50, of Hamden, died suddenly at his home, June 2, 2018. He was the son of  the late Susanne DeLucia  Marcio and Roger A. Marcio, who died the same day, and had resided in Hamden all his life. He was a graduate of Notre High School and attended UCONN. A devout Catholic, he was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid Yankee fan. He enjoyed being with his family and in his youth, was into body building, winning Mr. Connecticut in 1987. He is survived by his sister, Kerry ( Michael) Giudice of Hamden and nieces and nephews, Michael, Clare, Gabriel, Philomena, Francesco and Angelina. Funeral Friday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 P.M.
