R oger A. Marcio, 80, of Hamden, died June 2, 2018 at St. Raphael Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Susanne DeLucia Marcio. Roger was born in New Haven, March 18, 1938, the son of the late Richard and Edith Benevento Marcio and resided in Hamden most of his life. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Univ. of New Haven and Univ. of Miami with 3 Bachelor Degrees in Mechanical  Engineering and an MBA. He worked for Avco Lycomng, Brunswick Corp and GE for many years, prior to retiring in 2001. He was a Eucharistic Minister for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, and was a member of the K of C and its golf league. He is survived by his daughter, Kerry (Michael) Guidone of Hamden and 6 grandchildren, Michael, Clare, Gabriel, Philomena, Francesco and Angelina. He was pre-deceased by his son Roger R. Marcio, who died the same day. Funeral Friday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 PM.
