Rocco "Rocky" Juliano, 85, of 100 Pool Rd. North Haven, formerly of New Haven, died Feb. 17, 2013 at Conn Hospice after a long illness. He was the husband of the late Dorothy "Dottie" Platt Juliano. Rocky was born in Hamden, July 1, 1927, the son of the late Rocco and Rose Battalene Juliano and was a independant milk dealer, prior to his retiring, a former member of the Annex YMA and Melebus Club and a Navy Veteran of WWII. He was an avid hockey fan, following the New Haven Blade and the Nighthawks. He is survived by his children, Mrs. Edward (Kathleen) McManus of North Haven, Sandra Mitchell (Douglas Martineau) of West Haven, Gregory (Susan) Juliano of Madison and Thomas Juliano of New Haven, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his siblings Margaret Barbuto, Doris Maturo, Ethel Troiano, Michael, Steven, Ralph, Harold, and Joseph Juliano. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment in All Saints Cemetery.
