Robert E. Hale, 67, of 42 Parmalee Dr. Hamden, died suddenly at home, May 13, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband of Dora Carrano Hale. Robert was born in Derby, Dec.18, 1947, son of the late Edward and Elizabeth Ocxkowski Hale and was one of the owners of Systems, Inc.,a business machines co., for 18 years, retiring 8 years ago. He enjoyed golfing, reading and his dog, Sweetie, and was an excellent cook. He was a Navy Medic and Purple Heart recipient of the Vietnam War. Beside his wife, he is survived by brothers and sisters in law, Bernadette(Marc)Puglisi and John(Henrietta)Carrano and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Patricia Zelinski. Friends are invited to go directly to Blessed Sacrament Church, Monday at 10 o'clock for a Mass of Christian Burial and may call Sunday from 5 to 7 P.M. at the Peter H.
