Rita Mae Caputo Annunziata, 92, formerly of Hamden and Meriden, died Jan. 15, 2013 in Saugus, MA. after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Dr. Pasquale Annunziata. Rita was born in New Haven, May 6, 1920, the daughter of he late Ralph and Bridget DeFilippo Caputo and was a bookkeeper/office manager for W.R. Archer Co of Derby for 15 years, a former member of the Daughters of Isabella and a St. Raphael Hospital Volunteer. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Carol Barbera of Peabody, MA., a sister, Helen Polio of Hamden, grandchildren, Lisa and Michael Barbera Jr. aunt of Mary Ellen Polio and Dr. John Polio. Funeral Saturday at 9:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and in St. Ann's Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
