Ricky Ferrara, 60 of West Haven, died peacefully December 1st at Connecticut Hospice after a long illness. Born in New Haven December 23, 1962, son of the late Dominic & Rose Vitti Bacon Ferrara, Ricky worked as a roofer for various construction companies. He was a talented carpenter and had previously worked in the Jewlery industry as a diamond cutter. He is survived by brothers; Dominic (Sandra) Ferrara jr. of Hamden, John Ferrara of N.Y., and James Ferrara of New Haven sisters; Donna Ferrara of Hamden & Dawn (Eugene LaBagnara) Cerasale of Hamden. He was predeceased by a brother Frank and sister Deborah Ferrara. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service THURSDAY December 7th at 10:30 am in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell ave., Hamden. Calling hours will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the same location.
