Richard Di Santis, 79, of Hamden died Feb. 11th at the V.A. Medical center after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Josephine Abate Di Santis. Born in New Haven, son of the late Joseph & Edythe Cocco Di Santis, Richard worked as an insurance adjuster. He was an Air Force veteran, and a member of the American Legion, Post 150. Richard was an avid bowler, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Besides his wife, he is survived by daughters; Jo-Ann (Lisa Menichino) Di Santis of New York, and Cynthia (Renzo) Latina of Middletown, a brother Joseph (Patricia) Di Santis of Mass.,  a sister Marlene Di Santis of Hamden, and grandchildren Nathan, Alessandra, and Andrew Latina. He was predeceased by a son Joseph & a sister Janice Leonard. Funeral services will be held WEDNESDAY 10:30 at Blessed Sacrament Church (CBoL), Hamden. Burial with military honors will follow at 1 P.M. in the CT State Veteran Cemetery, Middletown, all are welcome. Friends may call at the Peter H.
