Rachel Holmes Graziano, 57, of 786 Elm St., New Haven, died March 17, 2011 at the West Haven Veterans Medical Center. Rachel was born in Milford, Sept. 2, 1953, the daughter of the late Anthony and Judith Graziano and served in the US Army. She was a human sources counselor at the West Haven V.A. Center for 17 years prior to her illness. She was a member of the AFGE Union. She is survived by a daughter Rachel Graziano of New Haven, a brother Jesse Graziano of Chicago a sister Cary Graziano of Orlando, FL and a granchild Amari M. Graziano Adams She was pre-deceased by a sister Sarah Luna. A memorial service will be held Thursday evening at 7 P.M. including military honors, in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 7 P.M.
