Phyllis Bellucci Torello, 92, of 191 Mulberry Lane, Orange, died Feb. 15, 2014, at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Raymond Torello. Phyllis was born in New Haven, Feb. 14, 1922, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Mongillo Bellucci and had resided in Orange the last 50 years. She was a secretary at the New Haven Register for 17 years prior to retirement. She is survived by a son, Michael Gasparrino of West Haven, a brother, John Bellucci of Branford and many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Frank Gasparrino, and siblings, Nicholas, Frederick, Domenic, and Frank Bellucci and Theresa Diana and Louise Coppola. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment in Orange Center Cemetery.
