Phyllis " Philomena Mimi " M. Kelsey, 77, of 855 Hill St., Hamden, formerly of Leonard Rd, died May 16, 2010 at St. Rapheal's Hospital. She ws the widow of Charles A. Kelsey. Phyllis was born in New Haven, Oct. 9, 1932, the daughter of the late Michael & Mary Perfetto Maturo and was employed at Conn Blue Cross, Blue Shield for 15 years prior to retiring 15 years ago. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Cliff (Michele) Carignan of Hamden, sons, Charles "Chet" (Regina) Kelsey of Hamden and David Kelsey of Ft. Lauderdale,FL, brothers, Domenic Maturo of New Haven and Michael (Ann) Maturo of Pouquag, NY and grandchildren Michael, Megan, CJ, Sam, Kelsey and Aidan. She was pre-deceased by a son, Edward Kelsey a sister, Angie Marone and brothers, Salvatore, John, Pasquale, Philip, Frank, and Anthony Maturo. Funeral Thursday at 10 A.M at the Church of the Ascension. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, Interment in Centerville Cemetery.
