Phyllis A. DeMeo, "FeeFee",of Hamden, died peacefully at Elim Park, Cheshire on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Born on Nov. 3, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Monaco DeMeo and worked at the Bank of America for 25 years. After retiring, she spent 17 years as a lunch aide at Bear Path School with the children she loved. She leaves behind her two sisters, Barbara (Joseph) Florentino of Cheshire and Viola (late Otto) Kieslich of Wallingford, 8 nieces and nephews, Kim(Gary) Mastroianni of Wallingford, Lisa (William) Newman of Hamden, Joseph (Emily Weeks) Florentino of Essex, Otto Kieslich, Colleen (late Ted) Miller, Kurt (Janice) Kieslich, Karl (Sharlene) Kieslich and Kathleen (Brian) Testa and 10 great nieces and nephews, Kirsti, Tyler, Bella, Ethan, Heather, Michael, Nicole, Lisa, Karl Jr., and Kaitlyn. Special thanks to her long-time home aide, Shelly, and the incredible staff, nurses and aides at Elim Park and Masoniccare Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:30 in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Interment in Beavedale Memorial Park, Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30.
