Peter Salvatore Sanca, 82, of North Haven, CT, passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 10, 2025. He will be remembered with deep love and admiration by all who knew him. Pete was predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Susan, and his brothers, Joseph, Robert, and Carl Sanca. He is survived by his devoted children, Lisa Consorte and her husband, Chris, and Peter Sanca and his wife, Bree. Pete was a proud grandfather to Hannah, Ashley, and Peter Sanca; Theresa and Christopher Consorte; and Brennan and Regan Cunningham. He also leaves behind his cherished sisters-in-law, Gladys Sanca and Linda Sanca, along with many beloved nieces and nephews. Pete's lifelong passion for cars and strong work ethic defined much of his life. After more than a decade with W.I. Clark, he fulfilled his dream of entrepreneurship by opening Hamden Automotive, his own garage. Even after retiring to Massachusetts, his love for the trade drew him back. Five years later, he proudly partnered with his son to open another garage, passing down not only his technical knowledge but also the values of dedication and hard work that guided his life. Outside of work, Pete embraced life's adventures. A devoted Yankee fan, he spent time in Florida, where he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, before returning to North Haven, where he was happiest surrounded by family and friends. Pete will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to family, his hardworking spirit, and the kindness and warmth he shared with everyone he met. Calling hours will be held Wednesday September 17th from 4pm to 6:30 pm in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends are invited to attend a prayer service at 6:30 pm in the same location. Burial will be privately held.
