Peter Pizzuti, 90, of 22 Masonic Ave., Wallingford, formerly of Hamden, died Oct. 19, 2017 at Masonicare after a long illness. He was the husband of Rose Mennone Pizzuti. He was a WWII Navy veteran. Peter was born in Cleveland, OH, April 13, 1927, the son of the late Giacomo and Mary Arcuri  Pizzuti and together with his wife, owned and operated Mary's Bake Shop in Hamden from 1948 to 1992 when he retired. He resided in Hamden since 1947 and was a former member of the K of C. Carmel Council #3605. Beside his wife, he is survived by his children, Marie L. Velardi and her husband, Harry of GA., Linda DiDomenico and her husband Paul, of Wallingford and James J. Pizzuti and his wife Michelle, of Guilford, a sister, Mrs. Edward Petraiuolo Jr. (Catherine) of New Haven and grandchildren, Anthony and Natalie DiDomenico and Nathaniel Pizzuti. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial in Devine Mercy Church (St. Rita) Monday at 11 A.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Michael J.
