Obituary

Pearl Favreau DePinto Lamoureux, 89, of 99 Blue Hills Ave., Hamden, died peacefully Aug. 7, 2012. She was the wife of the late Normand R. Lamoureux. Pearl was born in New Haven, March 22, 1923, the daughter of the late Joseph Favreau and Leonard and Frances Asmus and was employed at New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, State of Conn. Benefit Fund and The Iron Workers, Local 15-424 as a claims specialist retiring in 1985, when she moved to North Ft. Myers, FL., where she led a very active and social life. She recently returned to Hamden. She was a former member of the Hamden Womens Club. She is survived by daughters Donna Marie and her husband Marshall Hurteau of Old Saybrook and Denise and her husband Norman Townley of Hamden, step children, Karen DuPaul, Patricia and Lorna Lamoureux, grandchildren, Matthew J. Hurteau of Old Saybrook and Jeffrey DuPaul and many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, Grand nieces & Grand nephews. She was pre-deceased by her first husband, John DePinto Jr., a sister, Frances Coutts and a sister in law Eleanor D. Grace. Funeral Saturday at 9:30 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Hamden. Friends may call Saturday morning from 8 to 9:30 A.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation of CT., 74 Cheshire Rd., Wallingford, CT. or a charity of ones choice.
