Pauline Jansin Brewer Clarke, 95, of 135 Putnam Ave., Hamden, died Jan. 11, 2012 at the Arden House. She was the widow of Arthur Clarke and Francis Brewer. Pauline was born in Woodbridge, Nov. 29, 1916, the daughter of the late Louis and Pauline Metty Jasmin and resided in Hamden most of her life. She was employed at Morgan Brush, Matlaws and was a home health aide, prior to retirement. She is survived by her children, Mrs. Salvatore (Joan) Ferraro, Mrs. Michael (Jane) Sarno and Nancy Vagnini, all of Hamden, Mrs. Thomas (Irene) Miller of West Haven, Mrs. Frank (Sandra) Laudano of East Haven, Lorraine Brewer of Pompano Beach,FL and David (Lorraine) Brewer of West Haven, mother in law of Leonard Sargolini, 21 Grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by children, Pauline Sargolini and James Brewer, siblings, Catherine Doolittle, Marceline Carlson, Jessie Church, Junner, Emil, Theodore and Frenchie Jasmin and Kenneth Baldwin, a son in law, Dino Vagnini and a grandson, Salvatore Ferraro Jr. Services will be held Friday at 7 P.M. by Pastor Jack Spinder in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden. Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7 P.M. Interment will be private.
