Pasqualina Palmieri, 93, of Hamden, beloved wife of the late Amedeo Palmieri, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford with her family by her side. Pasqualina was born in Gioia Sannitica, Italy on March 2, 1930, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria Pacelli Antonucci, and was a lifelong resident of Hamden.  She had worked for Strouse Adler Company of New Haven until her retirement.  She enjoyed attending church and trips to the casino. She loved vegetable and flower gardening, cooking, and mostly, time spent centered around the table with family, especially the grandchildren. Pasqualina is survived by her daughter, Anna (James) Mastroianni of Wallingford; her most precious grandchildren, Cassandra and Michael Mastroianni; beloved sister of Francesco (Rosa) Antonucci, Antonio (Antoinetta) Antonucci, and Sister Maria Giancinta Antonucci. Pasqualina was predeceased by her sisters, Concetta Biondi, Rosa Landino, Michelina Landino, Filomena Lavorgna, Anna Maturo, and brother Enrico Antonucci. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family wishes to thank the caring professionals with Yale New Haven Health and CT Hospice. We also extend loving thanks to all the staff at the Clelian Adult Day Center in Hamden for providing excellent care and support to Pasqualina. She truly enjoyed visiting and being there with all the participants and staff. The calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 8:30am until 10:30am at Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Paul VI Parish at Blessed Sacrament Church, 321 Circular Avenue, Hamden at 11:00am.
