Pasquale Torello, 80, of 290 Treadwell St., Hamden, died suddenly, April 4, 2011 at his home. He was the husband of Vanda Ghiloni Cardonita Torello. Pat was born in New Haven, March 3, 1931, the son of the late Jimmie & Romilda Francomarco Torello and was employed at American Tube Bending Co for 35 years prior to retiring. He was a member of the Hamden Bowling League, The Young at Hearts Club and was active in both St. Rita and Blesssed Sacrament Parishes. Beside his wife, Pat is survived by children, Mrs. James C. (Toinette) Wood of Wallingford and a son Joseph Cardonita of Hamden, a brother, John Torello of East Haven, 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister Eva Hippolitus. Friends are invited to a Memoral Mass Tuesday morning at Blessed Sacrament Church at 11 o'clock, followed by interment in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
