Pasquale Torelli, 79 of Hamden, died peacefully at his home, Jan. 19, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband for 52 years of Filomena Landino Torelli. He was born in Gioia Sannitica, Italy, April 3, 1935 the son of the late Francesco & Alfonsina Pacelli Torelli, resided in England for 18 years and here the last 35 years. He was a machinist for Camco Fittings for 21 years prior to retiring. He was also the owner of Gioia Deli of Hamden. He was a loving and dedicated father to Francesco (Frank) Torelli of Hamden, Alfonsina (Tina) Tancredi (Cristano) of Wlfg., Cristina Crisci (Louis) of East Haven and Antonietta (Toni) Morrissey (Mark) of Hamden, proud grandfather of Gianni, Luigi, Giuliano, Francesca, Marisa, MarkAnthony, Louie, Joseph and Julia. Brother of Christina Torelli and the late Angelo Torelli. He was a loving and caring man who enjoyed his two great passions, his vegetable garden and his grandchildren. Funeral Thursday at 10:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at St. Joan of Arc Church at 11 o'clock. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 7 P.M.
