Pasquale "Pat" Crocco, 81, of Hamden, beloved husband of 60 years to Lucia Crocco, passed away on August 8, 2025, in his home surrounded by his family. Loving father of Lisa Crocco-McEnroe of Middlefield and Tina Crocco-Lombardi of East Haven. Cherished grandfather of James, Julia, CJ, and Rocco. Great Grandfather of Austin and Emery. Brother of the late Carmine and Michael Crocco. Pasquale was born in Cusano Mutri, province of Benevento, Italy on July 13, 1944, son of the late Emilio and Anastasia Crocco. Prior to his retirement, Pasquale was a truck driver for Yellow Freight and was a member of Teamsters Local 443 for over 40 years. He was proud of the award that he received from the National Safety Council in recognition of attaining 2,000,000 miles of safe driving without a preventable incident. In his spare time he also drove for Peter Pan bus line for over 35 years. Besides his devotion to his family, Pasquale was devoted to St. Anthony of Padua which was always his first stop when traveling to Italy. Pasquale was also a founding member of The Bocce Club of Hamden where he acted as treasurer. Pasquale loved his motorcycles, holidays with his family, ice cream, most sweets, singing at weddings, making homemade wine, and just driving around. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 8 - 10 am in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital ( www.stjude.org ) or the Clelian Center of Hamden.
