Paolo "Paul" DiCrosta, 86, of Parkview Rd., Hamden, died June 5, 2015 at Conn. hospice. He was the husband of the late Giovanna Conte DiCrosta. Paul was born in Cerreto Sannita, Italy Dec. 15, 1928, the son of the late Antonio and Maria Carmela DiCrosta and came to this country in 1961, and residing in Hamden. He originally worked for the Plasticrete Corporation for 13 years and then the Town of Hamden Public Works Dept. for 25 years prior to retiring. He enjoyed gardening, especially growing his own vegetables, long walks and baseball. He is survived by his sons, Antonio (Doreen) DiCrosta of Hamden and Pasquale DiCrosta of Shelton, sisters, Marie Fresa and Angie (Joe) DeDomenico, all of Branford, a brother, Greg DiCrosta of Hamden and 3 grandchildren, Eric, Krissy and Allie DiCrosta. He was pre-deceased by brothers Pasquale, Leo, and Frank DiCrosta. Funeral Tuesday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, and at Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 P.M.
