Pamela Ann Brooten, 66, of New Haven passed away peacefully on July 6. Pam, a 1963 graduate of Hamden HS, was the daughter of the late Harry and Frances (Babe) Brooten. She was the owner of Pets Prefer Pam. Pam had a life-long passion for learning about and caring for all animals. She is survived by her brother, Rick, her sister-in-law, Donna, five nieces and nephews, one great-niece and her beloved dog, Willow. Interment of her ashes will be on FRIDAY August 24 at noon at Beaverdale Cemetery. Reception to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of the New Haven Animal Shelter.
