Frank DePodesta, 90, of 35 Hamden Hills, died July 7, 2010 at Whitney Manor. He was the husband of Mary Susco DePodesta. Frank was born in Washington, PA., July 31, 1919, the son of the late Anthony and Catherine Bauff DePodesta and resided in Hamden most of his life. Together with his brother, he owned the Depodesta Construction Co. which they operated for 50 years, retiring 15 years ago. He was a former member of the Eagles Club, Home Builders Ass'n. and served on the Hamden Building Board of Appeals. Beside his wife, he is survived by sons, Anthony DePodesta of Branford, and Richard DePodesta of Hamden, grandchildren, Craig, Brian, Tricia and Kristin, sisters, Norina DePodesta of Cheshire and Mrs. Salvatore (Clara) Falato of Hamden and 6 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by a daughter in law, Kathy DePodesta and a grand daughter Melissa DePodesta. Funeral Monday at 9:15 from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, l022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 7 P.M.
