Olga Zenruha Chometa, 91, of Hamden, died at her home, Nov. 8, 2015. She was the wife of the late Michael Chometa. Olga is survived by her son, Peter (Carol) and her daughter, Luba (Peter) Copela. Her daughter and son in law were her loving caregivers. She leaves four grandchildren, Peter Chometa, Jill Diedrick, Laura Copela Maturo and Michael Copela, and 8 great grandchildren. Olga had worked as a seamstress for Starter Sportswear and later was a lunch aide. There will be no calling hours. Panachyda will be Tuesday at 7 PM at the funeral home. Friends are invited to go directly to St. Michael's Ukranian Catholic Church, 569 George St., New Haven, Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
