Nancy Crook White, 85 of Hamden died peacefully April 4th, at Hamden Health Care after a long illness. Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Edward & Alice Freeman Crook, Nancy worked as a customer service agent for AT&T. Nancy was a huge UCONN women's basketball fan. She enjoyed going to tag sales and loved to sew, making handmade barbie doll clothes and donating them to the Alzheimer's Association and other local causes. She was a very generous person and a longtime member of the Hamden Jaycees. She is survived by sons Robert, Kevin & Scott White, all of Hamden, and Brian (Pat) White of North Carolina, a sister Betsy (William) Poulin of Middlefield, and grandchildren; Kristen, Stephanie, Kyle, Andrew & Alexander. She was predeceased by a brother Edward Crook, and a sister Carol Ann Cutler. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service, FRIDAY April 19th at 10:30 am in Centerville cemetery in Hamden.
