Mildred C. "Millie" D'Aniello, 87, of Belden Rd., Hamden, died April 26, 2013 at Yale New Haven Hospital after a long illness. She was the wife for 56 years, of the late Stanley D'Aniello. Millie was born in New Haven, Jan. 17, 1926, the daughter of the late Anthony Chancio & Anna Romano. She was a graduate of Commercial High School and was a medical secretary for many years in the office of Dr. F. Ghofrany, Pediatrician, retiring 25 years ago. A Hamden resident for the last 62 years, she was active in the bowling leagues at the Johnson Alleys, the Blessed Sacrament Ladies League, the 55 Alive Club, St Ann's Young at Heart Club and was an avid Yankee Fan. She is survived by her children,Guy (Suzan) D'Aniello of Hamden, Paula (William) Lupi of Hamden,and Elisa (Matthew) Allardice of Wallingford , a sister, Virginia Pastore of MA, grandchildren, Kala (Matthew) Zawalich, Kurt D'Aniello, Kylie & KeriAna Allardice and 2 great- grandchildren, Kira and Danny Zawalichand many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Alfred Limauro and a niece Roberta Pastore-Sedaille At Millie's request, there will be no calling hours. Friends and relatives are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Church, Monday at 10 o'clock followed by interment in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
